Many business’s wonder why electronics have to be disposed of separately from the regular garbage, after all isn’t waste just waste? It turns out that e-waste or electronics waste isn’t just normal trash, in fact it’s particularly hazardous and needs to be disposed of safely. Most laptops, servers, computers, CRT monitors and office electronics contain toxins that although may not be dangerous to us in the working environment can actually be extremely perilous to us if they pollute our land and water. To prevent e-waste pollution all electronics disposal has to be performed by a certified electronics recycler, it is the recyclers’ responsibility to ensure that the process of electronics disposal occurs through what is known as de-manufacturing. The process of de-manufacturing is more commonly called ‘recycling’ because it involves taking apart the old electronics, separating out the materials and then recycling them for reuse.
Electronics disposal is a global process, with some of the most advanced technology & services coming from England, Canada and the USA. Of course it takes man power to recycle old electronics, which is why, at the moment a small collection and disposal fee is charged.
So if you are thinking about disposing of your electronics with the regular trash please think again. Electronics disposal is not expensive and you may even qualify for FREE disposal.
